Cover 7.5km in a single workday with the P1. Smart Oblique Capture elevates the efficiency of your mission where the gimbal will automatically rotate to take photos at the different angles needed. Only photos essential to the reconstruction will be taken at the edge of the flight area, meaning your post processing efficiency is increased 20% up to 50%.

The P1 takes photos with a resolution of 8192 * 5460, or approximately 45 megapixels.

The P1 supports 24mm, 35mm and 50mm lenses with industry-specific DL mounts. Only use lenses engraved with the "DJI Enterprise" logo to produce survey-grade accurate results.
Currently the P1 supports only three industry-specific lenses. The lenses of the P1 are optimized for surveying and mapping scenarios, including optical parameter writing, lens performance recording, and reminders. Lenses with other DL mounts can take photos and videos manually when installed on the the Zenmuse P1 camera but cannot support surveying and mapping.
Suport M300 RTK, and currently can be installed only on the single downward gimbal of M300 RTK.
In photos taken by the P1, the exit pupil position at the center of the camera lens is recorded.
Zooming is not currently supported.First Waypoint Autofocus and Calibrated Infinity Focus can be used when in Mission Flight. Manual focus is required in Manual Flight.
The Low-noise and high-sensitivity mode of the P1 can improve camera sensitivity (ISO) while reducing noise levels, which expands the range of operatable scenarios for P1.
Output the exposure time interval in microseconds;
Time synchronization for the camera, the gimbal, the flight control system, and RTK;
Brand-new position and orientation compensation function which writes precise exit pupil positions of the camera into the photos based on the positions and orientations of the drone and the gimbal.
Functional features
This feature allows photos to be taken at multiple angles during a flight by way of payload control. All the ortho- and oblique photos necessary for 3D reconstruction can be acquired in a single flight path. Only photos essential to reconstruction will be taken at the edge of the flight area, minimizing the number of images taken and significantly increasing post-processing efficiency. Unique oblique capture strategies are applied to each flight path in different flight areas to ensure complete data capture in all the target areas. Flight speeds will vary in each flight segment as the camera rotates to capture oblique and ortho-photos in the most efficient manner possible, as determined by the algorithm. This feature is currently only available using the M300 RTK with the P1. To use the function, enable it in Mapping under Mission Flight settings in the DJI Pilot app.
The tilt angle range is from -45° to -90°.
Smart Oblique Capture lets users capture sufficient data for the selected measurement area. Photos will be taken from five different angles to cover the entirety of the area, including the edges.
As the camera’s shooting angle can be affected by the aircraft’s attitude during turns, buffer zones are added in the algorithm to account for this. No photos are taken at turning points to ensure that the P1 captures images at an accurate tilt angle.
When Task Resume is enabled in a Smart Oblique Capture mission, photos will be taken from all 5 directions at the point where the mission was last paused. Once the aircraft reaches the next waypoint, opblique photos will be taken according to the settings of that waypoint.
Each flight path section comes with a different oblique capture sequence, which means the time spent completing each sequence, and the speed at which each section is completed can vary, assuming a consistent overlap rate. The aircraft will operate at maximum efficiency in the Smart Oblique Capture mode.
In Smart Oblique Capture, only photos essential to reconstruction will be taken at the edge of the flight area. The shooting sequence executed depends on the size of the measurement area demarcated by the user, the flight altitude, and the camera’s tilt angle.

Ground Sampling Distance GSD is measured in centimeters (cm)/pixel; target distance H is measured in meters (m).
The P1 can be used in multiple surveying and mapping scenarios including 2D orthomosaic, 3D oblique, detailed modeling, and real-time mapping.
After a flight mission is completed, a field work report is generated for pilots to quickly confirm the quality of field data on site. The information provided includes the location of each photo, the number of photos, RTK positioning status, and location accuracy.* *Follow-up support
The DJI P1 is connected to the payload health management system in DJI Pilot to record the service time of devices, historical abnormal status, usage count of the shutter, and swing count of the gimbal. Corresponding suggestions on abnormalities and maintenance are then provided to ensure the best performance for each task.* *Follow-up support
Yes. The task folder stores photos, original GNSS observations, and TimeStamps.MRK files, which are used for PPK post-processing calculations.
