Drone Vision Science consists of Russell, who has a background in research science, AI and electronic engineering. Drone Vision Science is focused on applying sophisticated computer vision aided analysis and year to year reproducibility of results.

As well as using Python code to do object detection, and instance segmentation in drone imagery, I am also able to do change detection between successive aerial surveys, orthomosaics and rasters.

Drone Vision Science can also do automatic and accurate stand counts of eucalyptus, and acacia trees as well as rugosity analysis of native tree canopy.

For clients who are concerned with generating scientific remote sensing data, I can offer the analysis framework as a virtual machine, which would make it possible to plugin updated data into the same analysis years later.
