1. Course Enrolment & Eligibility

  1. Students must comply with all safety instructions, CASA regulations, and DFH policies during training.

  2. Enrolment is confirmed once full payment or an agreed deposit is received.

  3. Once class materials are sent, the RePL component is considered non-refundable. For more details, refer to sections below.

  4. DFH reserves the right to refuse enrolment if eligibility criteria are not met, and to suspend training if a student’s conduct or health poses a safety risk.

2. Payments & Fees

  1. Payments must be made according to the invoice to secure a spot and be officially registered in the class.

  2. Any resits, additional training, or administration services may incur separate fees, which will be quoted separately on a case-by-case basis.

3. Exam Attempts & Resits

  1. Each student is entitled to one standard attempt for the RePL exam and practical assessment. Resits or additional training may also incur extra instructor or travel costs, which will be communicated at the time of scheduling.

  2. Second attempts (resits) are available at DFH’s discretion and are subject to resit fees.

  3. For third resit, the student must attend the online theory session again to ensure knowledge is refreshed. There is no additional cost for attending this session. The date and time will be arranged with the instructor, and the student will join an existing class session (no separate class will be scheduled).

  4. If a separate revision session or tutorial is required outside the scheduled class, additional fees will apply, charged per session directly with the instructor.

  5. Resits must be completed within 3 months of the original course date.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  1. Full refunds are only available if a student withdraws before the enrollment (before study materials being sent), minus administration costs.

  2. Refunds for travel or instructor costs are only available if cancellation occurs at least 7 days before the scheduled practical day.

  3. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeited fees.

  4. For all other changes to theory or practical sessions, requests must be made at least 7 days in advance.

  5. DFH reserves the right to reschedule courses due to instructor availability, safety, or operational reasons. In the event of practical day changes due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, the instructor will update the candidate, and no additional charges will apply for rescheduling.

  6. DFH may offer partial credit toward future courses, type ratings, or equipment purchases, quoted separately on a case-by-case basis.

6. Travel & Accommodation

  1. Students are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. DFH is not liable for any costs incurred due to travel, course rescheduling, or resits.

  2. If an instructor needs to travel to conduct training, their travel costs will be indicated as a separate line item in the invoice.

7. Type Rating & ReOC Courses

  1. Completion and passing of RePL training is required before enrolling in type rating or ReOC courses.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. Course materials, manuals, and training content remain the property of DFH.

  2. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or use materials for commercial purposes without written permission.

9. Liability & Indemnity

  1. DFH will conduct training with all due care.

  2. DFH is not liable for personal injury, equipment damage, or other losses except where required by law.

10. Terms & Privacy

  1. Student information will be collected and stored in accordance with DFH’s privacy policy.

  2. Information may be used for course administration, invoicing, and regulatory reporting.

  3. Current students will be notified of any changes that affect ongoing training.
