We are recognised across Australia as being at the forefront in using RPAS for the saving of life.

Our Little Ripper Lifesaver program, sponsored by Westpac, has led the way in world’s best practice in RPAS search and rescue services with the development of drop-on‐command rescue pods, life rafts, defibrillators, and medical packs.

In April 2017, in conjunction with University of Technology Sydney (UTS), The Ripper Group International launched their breakthrough SharkSpotter© technology for identifying sharks. This unique software works in real time, utilising advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine-­‐learning technologies and is capable of raising alarms to provide greater protection for swimmers.

As an organisation, we identified the need to establish education services to support our vision, and in February this year launched The Ripper Aviation Training Academy in Port Macquarie in association with Surf Life Saving NSW. The opening celebrated the graduation of the first group of Surf Life Savers to complete the program. The Academy will run Advanced RPAS industry courses and off-­‐site school programs.

Ripper Corp has positioned itself to meet the growing demand for commercial UAV services. In doing so, the Group has assessed the UAV application opportunities and technology needs across a diverse range of industries and is progressively rolling out services to capture these opportunities.

We operate a variety of commercial and community UAV business groups across Search & Rescue, Asset and Industrial Inspection, Construction & Engineering, Environmental, Mine site Quarry & Landfill, Agriculture, Emergency Services and Training.
