Hi there, my name is Nathaniel, I run NexGen Drones which is based in the rural town of Ararat, Victoria.
I come from a background in Drone Racing. This involves flying custom built multi-rotors (in full manual mode) at speeds well over 150kph around a three dimensional race track. It has been over six years now that I have been involved in this sport and am former fourth in Australia. The sport has grown rapidly, thankfully adopting a very mate-like-ship culture, even throughout the most serious competitions requiring immense levels of skill.
Coming from Drone Racing to flying DJI products, high precision control of the drone and a careful eye for detail comes spontaneously and instinctively.

I have recently completed my Remote Pilot Licence course with Aviassist, one of the most highly accredited RePL course providers in Australia. What was meant to be a five day course, I completed in three and a half days without any overtime. This was thanks to my prior knowledge and experience with multi-rotors.

I have a large amount of experience with various DJI drones, having taught drone courses myself. The courses/workshops called ‘Drone Zone’ were aimed at teenagers between the ages of 12 and 18, with the purpose of educating the children of the safety surrounding the use of drones, CASA laws, components and also flight and maneuvering of multi-rotors.

Aside from my past experience and skills, I love to learn, I love to meet new people and most of all, I love to put a smile on peoples faces through friendliness, kindness, humility and respect in every situation.

Heading into the future, I am looking forward to seeing where my piloting skills will take me. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you, the sky is the limit!
