Release of biological pest control in vineyards

Parabug Australia was involved with a 2 year trial conducted by the NSW Department of Primary Industries releasing millions of mites via drone into 12 vineyards in Orange & Mudgee. The project has been documented in the NSW DPI Grapevine management guide 2022-23. The report shows some positive results and pest control options for vineyard managers in the future. We also have some anecdotal evidence of increased yield on blocks that had mites released.
