NSW, Mine site, quarry or landfill - Create 2D or 3D map
Terratest Aero was contacted to produce a 3D model of quarry located in Western Sydney. The results were to be used by the client to measure volumes and track the progress of the quarry via an online portal, allowing them to visualize their quarry from an aerial perspective.
UAV’s can collect photogrammetry data extremely quickly, covering this site in a matter of minutes. The quarry below only measures 18.5ha however multiple sites can be stitched together for larger areas.
Data is sent for processing where it creates the 3D model, point-cloud, 2D aerial, and Digital Elevation Model. (DEM) These can be uploaded to a browser based online portal, making them accessible for companies and individuals that do not have access to modelling software.

DJI T100 Clear for Takeoff
CASA has approved the T100 for operation in Australia under the Medium category, just like the T50 and other spray drones. The liquid tank holds up to 100 L and the spreader handles 100 kg. There are no built-in take-off limits or system restrictions in the drone or software. You’ll only see a brief notice on the remote screen if you exceed the MTOW, which disappears automatically. To stay within CASA’s operating guidelines, keep total load to 75 L or kg.
