Vodafone and Hitachi

Vodafone has partnered with Hitachi Consulting to offer IoT technology such as sensors which are installed on meat and livestock farm properties. Alongside data captured from fixed-wing drones, water-point information and weather station data is sent back to a centralised dashboard software so farmer's can spend less time manually checking the information and more time making better decisions about farm operations based on the data. Filmed near Canberra, this was a fun project to produce as it is clear that this technology can really benefit our farming industry and help it become more efficient and effective, ultimately providing consumers with better quality meat derived from better on-farm decision making. It was very interesting filming fixed-wing drones with my multi-rotor drones.
