Roof Deflection - Solar Panels attached to roof

This newly constructed warehouse was not designed to carry the load of several tonnes of solar panels. The challenge was to map the deflection of the roof and report on the delta in a linear format. The site was mapped with a 40MP L1 Camera attached to a M300 RTK MAtrice DJI drone. The point cloud produced was geolocated to local control placed on the roof of the building, and independent check points were referenced to confirm the expected accuracy (uncertainty) of the model to survey mapping standards.
