NSW, Business / corporate video (e.g. service intro) - Short business intro / web video
The Australian Rail Track Corporation, commissioned us to shoot drone footage of the first train through an area of rail track that was inundated by floods in an isolated rural area in northern NSW.
It meant shooting in the rail corridor which is a technical requirement in itself. The ARTC wanted us to shoot the footage at a specific time on a specific day. The train would be travelling at speed so we would be given only one opportunity to capture the footage. Shooting a train travelling at speed is especially challenging.
We also facing the added challenge of a significant drive back into town, a hurried edit and uploading a complete video in a tight turnaround time and in a place where the internet speed and connection was difficult to say the least.
Despite the challenges, we delivered a polished professional package and the client was delighted.

DJI T100 Clear for Takeoff
CASA has approved the T100 for operation in Australia under the Medium category, just like the T50 and other spray drones. The liquid tank holds up to 100 L and the spreader handles 100 kg. There are no built-in take-off limits or system restrictions in the drone or software. You’ll only see a brief notice on the remote screen if you exceed the MTOW, which disappears automatically. To stay within CASA’s operating guidelines, keep total load to 75 L or kg.
