Why choose the M4TD (without the optional dock) over the M4T
1. Can fly in the rain – e.g. farmers still need to check on animals, fences, troughs, tanks etc when its wet
2. Faster battery charging (still one by one - sequential, but charges faster: 15% to 90% in 29 mins consistently)
3. It goes 20 kph faster – gets you from point to point and or home faster
4. Slightly larger aircraft overall (more stable in bad weather)
5. Seems to have slightly better transmission strength when there are more physical obstructions like large trees
6. Compatibly with Dock 3 – you will see the arms are angled upwards this is so it can land in the dock. It still fly’s normally without dock.
7. Slightly larger carry case – not really meaningful difference for most people
8. Camera specs and flight times are the same (around 45-50 min under typical conditions)
