In the box:
The aircraft, two sets of propellers, a remote controller, two batteries, and a battery charger.
Make use of your existing DSLR cameras so you don’t need to pay for another camera, and learn its settings. But this also puts your camera/s at more risk (if you crash drone!).
Compatibility with Sony cameras:
Capable of carrying a Sony Alpha 7 camera and lens, with a precise payload capacity of 2.5kg. Given that the Sony A7R IV, as a representative example, weighs 665g body only, this provides a lot of flexibility in terms of loadout. For video users, Sony says the drone will also take the Sony FX3 cinema camera. It may also carry various versions of the A9, A1. Sony says other mirrorless camera may work with the Airpeak too, but the company has yet to test any for official compatibility.
Maximum tilt angle of 55 degrees.
Comes with a dual operation mode that lets one person fly the drone while someone else operates the camera independently.
Can hold a stable position while filming in winds of up to 70 kph. This means you can still get that critical shot on the day even if its really windy. Keep in mind though, the testing was done with seemingly constant wind conditions, in reality wind changes direction and may gust.
Flight time:
The Airpeak S1’s max flight time is just 12 minutes with your Sony camera onboard. This is about half that of most DJI drones because the Airpeak is carrying the weight of a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera . Also because the Airpeak S1 has more powerful motors and larger rotors than most drones – so it can power through high wind and stay stable. As a reference, the DJI Inspire 2 fly’s for 23 mins with the X7 onboard.
Remember, as exciting as this drone is, it is Sony's first drone, and so may have bugs / issues. However Sony are known in particular for quality and thorough engineering / testing so this risk is relatively low.

-Use with camera systems (lens filter, hood etc.) weighing under 1.1kg. -When shooting with a wide-angled lens, the aircraft may partly obstruct the shot. Compatible with lens length up to 100 mm to avoid a contact to the landing gear or to the ground. -When connecting the camera to the gimbal, use a USB-C cable for USB-C port models. You may need to change the cable pull-out direction, or extend the cable length with certain lenses. - Some features may not be available with certain camera models or firmware versions.
